I don't even know where to start with this masterpiece. WOW!!!! Both the glass layering done by Doug Whaley, and then the carving by Nathan, are out of this world! The layered colors are soooo cool, and it's just wild to think that this is 100% glass, all hand carved into this other worldly creation. The patterns are so unique and interesting. I think of several different things when I look at this piece, but for this one, I'll let your own mind run wild, as there are so many places you can go with it. Again, creativity pushed to its absolute limits here! And again, that darker glass in the middle...is actually all clear. But it picks up the darker colored glass that is the inner core of the piece, plus what's around it. But you can grab a light or a laser beam and have even more fun with this one. Suuuuper hard piece to let go of, I am just blown away by glass that is as fascinating as this!!
