I've certainly sold collaboration marbles here with more complex detail involved, but never have I sold a collab that is THIS beautiful and elegant! Jared DeLong and Dan Benway both go back a LONG ways in the borosilicate world of art glass and marbles, both absolute masters of their craft, and this creation which the two of them have come up with is utterly breathtaking! This sweet marble features a Japanese pogoda as the centerpiece murrine, Dan's latest creation, with Dan's gorgeous green/brown earthy fuming as the base color. Jared then took that base and overlaid his incredible flowers, with a featured double flower on the back side which is very 3D, so much better in hand than what my pics caught. There is a killer opal in the stamen of one of the flowers. The colors, the flowing leaves and water, everything comes together as an ultimate masterpiece. Jared finished it all off with some of his world-famous coldworking to provide water-like texture to the surface. It's a nice sized marble, and you will gasp when you see it in hand!! One of the hardest marbles to let go of that I've ever had to - I LOOOOOVE this marble!!!
