If you collect Simpson planets, then THIS is one of those that you want. The hardcore Simpson collectors know that the best planets to get are actually those that are unsigned. That's because we know that these marbles are both early - created in the 80's or very early 90's - and they were most likely made by Simpson's hands himself, before Josh became uber-famous and hired a huge team of glassblowers to help him with the demand for his work. On top of that, I find that these early planets are the most interesting planets also, with neat land masses and fascinating things happening in the glass. This one holds true to form, being the only one I've ever seen where the planet is stretched up into the atmosphere so much like you see here, going through some mega-event planet-wide. The satellite shows this one is inhabited, complete with bubble contrail behind it. Awesome marble!!
