This batch of 4 pendants featuring cabs created by Gateson and then leather worked by the famous Japanese artist Kousuke Oyama aka Kinoko Heads are the first of their kind to ever be developed, a commission I put together to bring the work of these two amazing artists together as one. I think anybody who sees these will agree that Kousuke went above and beyond with his leather work here, creating perfectly themed pieces that are now some of THE COOLEST space pendants the world has ever seen!! To me, this is the best work Kousuke has ever done (although some who love his Grateful Dead work with Rose Roads might disagree with me, ha.)

For this one, Kousuke matched the colors of the leather exceptionally well with the colors of the planet, flat out awesomeness! And what a sweet planet it is!! Kousuke always goes the extra mile with his leather work and adds killer little details - like the twist on the carving at the end of each of the 4 major prongs. I also looooove how he carved that explosion style pattern out of the leather around the cab, exposing all the striated colors. The backside continues with that explosive design. Between the spacey fuming and planetary craziness of Gateson's work, and the clever leather work of Kousuke, you have one seriously world class space pendant right here!
