Take a gooood look at this one! I'm betting you have seen VERY few marbles as unique as this one. And I'm sure you've never seen another one like it. This marble was faceted using the 'battuto' technique, a LOT of work. Battuto, an Italian word that means "struck" or "beaten," refers to a cold working technique in which glass is cut or ground into to create depressions or small facets in or on the surface of the glass. What you end up with is a fascinating marble with neat facets of all different shapes, many of them left in a 'frosted' state. Inside the marble is a super nice implosion flower with a gorgeous little opal sitting on top of it. All of that is over top of some sweet dichro! It's subtle, but REALLY beautiful in hand.
