70-200 f/4 as a "macro"

California, MD

Playing with my 70-200 f/4 in my wife's garden, different
f-stops and distances, etc. This was on a tripod though I've
had excellent results hand held as well.

the minimum focus distance on this lens is just incredible.

It looks quite effective. I've been using a 100mm macro lens for quite a few years. From what I've seen, it appears that many manufacturers make very good macros in the 90 to 105 range. Of course I don't have the versatility that you get with the 70-200.
