I dismissed this on a first pass through the gallery but fortunately came back to it. It is extra-ordinary. It's subtle and has been processed with real care. It is a beauty. One to be particularly proud of.

Beautiful in b&w, very nice work Doug. You really see the advantage the D700 has over the D300 in images like this. Sweltering? it was 78F / 26C here today and the forecast for the weekend is even warmer.
