Extra - Zeitgeist

My living room

Certainly here in the good old UK, the media has been full of election news, views and lies; apart from volcanic ash; you'd be forgiven for thinking that the world has stopped while we wring our hands and decide which set of pillocks we're going to elect next. Interestingly though (I'm getting to the point, honest!) the televised leaders' debates (a first for us) appear to have become the defining 'thing' of this election...and I therefore offer our three contenders from tonight's BBC debate as the zeitgeist for Spring 2010 in these fair lands

The scary thing is that they represent us. I just watched a hearing in the U.S. Senate and so many of them clearly had no understanding of the topic of the hearing. Of ciurse, that did not stop them from pontificating.

The format we use here doesn't really serve us well to know the candidates. It plays well into their typical soundbite approach to everything political.

Cool capture and interpretation.

Guy Fawkes had the best idea!

Perhaps a hung parliament would be safest - but does that meant just the leaders get hung or all the others that have been wasting our money?

What a strange sensation! I just watched this on our local news channel now, and almost at the same time opened the photo! You are certainly quick off the mark. It definitely is a good one for "zeitgeist" ...... well done.

They all seem to be the same - all talk and no action unless it suits them politically.
Cindi Smith30-Apr-2010 02:05
Yeah, they are all power hungry and liars....don't care too much for them, especially the one sitting in the top seat here.

I'd vote for the one who is a photographer, but I'm guessing none of them are.
