Driven Into The Ground

Guiting Woods, Glos. view map

It's funny what you see out for a walk...all sorts of things from leftfield, but I never thought I'd see something like this - a tractor seemingly just parked up in the middle of the woods and left to its own decompositional devices...bizarre!

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the presentation! It looks like it's trying to get up and move again. Well done.

After my success freeing up my car window with a can of WD40, I'm sure I'm up-to-the-job... where is it? I now have a can of silicone lubricant too - no problem :o)
It looks like it's being slowly eaten, which I suppose it is!

You have brought your compositional skills to bear on this de-compositional scene with great effect...dreamy!!

Brilliant. I thought I had taken a picture of the most clapped out tractor in the world until I saw this . I'll send you the link.

The combination of light, shadows and processing have blended it into the scenery so well. I wonder about the history.......
