Oscar et al - I just looked at some images of flying immie BWs, and they all show a distinct dark terminal band on the tail, with two much thinner but also distinct bands above that. This bird does not have anything close to that. Wheeler also calls the dark post-ocular line diagnostic for Gray Hawk. The immie BW images do not show that feature.

There is quite a bit of contract usually in an imm. Gray Hawk's face. The supercilium clashes with the large amount of white in the face. This bird seems to lack that contrast. You may have an imm. Broad-winged Hawk. Do you have any other pics of the bird?
