Tramping the Celery Farm in April and May

It's the height of sprouting, blooming, nesting and migration activity at the Celery Farm Natural Area, so I will try to visit frequently. After a lengthy photographic hiatus, I hope to get back to capturing at least a little of the beauty and unique nature of one of our local preserved environmental treasures. Enjoy occasional additions to the gallery as the spring season progresses.

Enjoyed immensely the photos, especially those of the swans (as you would expect from our name below). Will try to print some on good photo paper to share with our 2 cygnets and their 5. Where exactly is the Allendale natural area mentioned in the article by Jim Wright? Would like to visit. We are always checking the swans in our area of North Haledon (the Oldham and Haledon reservoir).
