Thank you for your wonderful pictures. Not much change since we stopped by on "Epicurus" in 1998. At that time we helped the chief install a solar panel. I hope it's still works for them. I have many photos but they are pre-digital.

I couldn't help holding back the tears, especially seeing the kids and my old stomping ground next to the 'Rusty Boat' photo. I spent numerous hours on that boat learning how to catch fish with my 8 pound single nylon line and fish hooks my mom bought for me at Jose Store in Kolonia. Mom has since gone to be with the Lord, and I am here in the U.S. enjoying jazz music and the occasional trip to the spillway behind the massive lake to catch a Striper or two.
In my spare time, I try soliciting friends for my Team Micronesia on Kiva; a new concept in microfinancing where teams of like minded folks collectively loan as little as 25 dollars to aspiring entrepreneurs in developing countries who lack collateral and credit worthiness to secure microloans from commercial banks. My team is in the middle of constructing a companion web site to our default site with Kiva to bring awareness to Micronesian determination for economic survival and their daily struggle with the rising ocean water of the global warming that threaten the islands they long call home. I've been looking make a surf trip to this area of the world for years now. Unfortunately, because of financial reasons I have not been able to. It's great to pictures from your adventure. I'll just have to work a little harder to get there.

Beautiful pictures you have here. I am from one of the island you came across, Lamotrek. I can see that you did enjoyed your time there, especially with the "TUBA" drinking with my cartoon friend Sesario. I really liked your pictures of my relatives. Makes me homesick just looking at them but they at least give me a piece of something to always look back on. I've been away from home too long and a friend suggested that I take a look at these photo and sure enough I found them to be my people, my family, my island..thanx it's made me realized how long I've been away from home.

Hi Sir,

As I serf the web, I came across your website and find your pictures very amazing. I am from one of the islands(Lamotrek) you came across during your voyage but I was not on the island when you came by. I have been away from the island for quite some time working on the mainland Yap at the Education Central Office. Thanks to you that I once again see the most updated pictures of my island again. As I look at those pictures, I feel I saw you guys at the terminal in Yap as I prepare to travel off island for one of my trips. I think one of you was to travel on the same flight I think to Saipan. We talked briefly with my father and some members of my family who met you guys on Lamotrek.

Anyway thank you guys very much for posting those pictures. They are nice and beautiful. I am looking forward to see you guys again.
