The week of June 13th, 2012 marked the kickoff of a two year celebration of the Bicentennial of Fort McHenry. The British bombardment of Fort McHenry, in Baltimore, MD Harbor was the ispiration for Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner, our National Anthem. On Sunday, June 17th, 2012 there was a two hour air show over Fort McHenry culiminated by a spectacular 45 minute performance by the Navy's Blue Angels Demonstration Team flying F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
