PS: Yes, Bambi was born Sept 17, so this IS Bambi.

I'm pretty sure this is Bambi. (sorry - my memory has gotten REALLY bad.) One way you can be very sure is to note that this photo was taken Oct 11, 2011, and the puppy in the photo looks between 3 and 4 weeks old - so check her birthdate, and if she was born mid-September, then this is her for sure.
