Bill Creech has his picture taken with Golden Boy or AT&T's The Spirit Of Communication at its new home in Dallas July, 2009.

This symbol of AT&T was commissioned by AT&T President Theodore Vail in 1914 and sat atop the AT&T HQ building in New Your City for 64 years. It was moved to AT&T in New Jersey in the 90’s. In January of this year it was moved for restoration and then to its new home in Dallas. The “Golden Boy” Statue was unveiled in the AT&T Dallas HQ building at One AT&T Plaza on July 6th 2009 when the building was also renamed the Whitacre Tower for former Chairman Edward Whitacre Jr.
