St. Mark's Episcopal Church

Located in St. Albans, West Virginia and listed on the National Historic Register, St. Mark's "Old Church" was built in 1825. The "Old Church" was used to stable the horses of Union troops in the Civil War. It has been restored to its present beauty and is a popular site for special services and small wedding ceremonies. The newer and larger church was dedicated in 1969. Surely one of the most beautiful churches in St. Albans it sports a membership of nearly 400 families. See St. Mark's web site http://www.stmarksstalbans.org for more information.
