Riverfest is held in St. Albans, WV on the Kanawha River during the 4th of July Weekend. Many different types of entertainment are usually scheduled, but it is the sternwheelers, big and small, young and old, that attract me. The details in these little riverboats that tend to make them look like the famed riverboats of old, are fun for any photographer. The moorings this year were quite jumbled up giving some crowded conjested photos that still have a bit of appeal, to me.
