This gallery follows UCLA's three wins on the way to the championship of the Maui Invitational. UCLA overcame a superb field that included four national AP top 25 basketball teams. Bragging rights went to the team that could overcome intense pressure and three tough opponents in a row on national television.

The wins over tough competition in Maui (combined with losses by Florida and North Carolina) led UCLA to a No. 1 ranking in the November 27, 2006, Associated Press National Collegiate Athletic Poll, a record 129th week UCLA has held that position since the polling began.
