Male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak

Indiana, U.S.A.

A rare bird for southern Indiana; this bird is normally found throughout British Columbia, southern Manitoba and Nova Scotia south to southern Alberta of Canada. Also, the northern and northeastern U.S.A.; central North Dakota, central Oklahoma and New Jersey. The Rose-Breasted Grosbeak winters in the tropics. It only stayed about one week eating black sunflower seeds before moving on.
