I call them Kettle Herons because these two nesting Herons are on a wetland preserve maintained by A local Food producer in Salem OR, Kettle Foods. when companies use their resources to help the enviroment everyone wins. Especially the birds. Salem has a lot of protected wetland within the city limits so we always have wild birds to photograph.
