Hi Bill,

I found you on another fantastic photographer's website where you had made a comment. I was sufficiently intrigued to come see yours too. WOW! You had given him great accolades and now I see you deserve them too. I am an amateur and am desparately trying to go to greater heights. Just got great new equipment and now have a monumental job to learn how to use it and bring my photography into your realm. My website is: www.allenpix.smugmug.com just so you can see where I am on the learning curve. The non snapshot galleries are: "The Face of Brooke" especially "Mountain Brooke" and "My Favorite Galleries" and believe me they are still under construction. Just got Photoshop so I am just starting "Fixing" them.

Great website and thanks!
Barb

Hi Bill,
Thanks for visiting my gallery and giving wodnerful comments. I am very new to this photography and my first DSLR purchse was NIKON D70s in March 2006. I am learning and still using very basic settings. Your comments encourages me to improve my work and learn more.
Thanks

Hi Bill, I've been enjoying your gallery and will definitely return to see what you are up to, your living in an area I always wished could be my own. I have to tell you, I was drawn to your gallery first, because I also am a Coberly -- so we will be related by a common ancestor -- I could probably find you in my genealogy book. :-) My husband and I have recently started shooting with a Nikon D200 (we simply *must* get an extra body!), after loving digital using our Canons G5 and S3IS. Do come to visit us over at our growing collection of galleries, and if you will check out our "England" gallery, you will find, scattered throughout, a number of images shot in Coberley, Gloucestershire, our old stomping ground. Best wishes ~ Linda

Hi Bill,Thank you for your guestbook message. I agree that since digital came along, the world of the camera has moved on so much. Is your Nikon D200 your first digital or did you work up to it,just curious?

You have galleries are outstanding,Bill. Hope to see more of what your doing now. Oh and a big welcome to PBase!!

Bill, great comments on my Costa Rica tree in the sun picture. Very observant - you have a good eye for what's there. And the worst part it that I could have wondered over there, but thought I was getting great lighting where I was. I have not culled my CR pictures yet, but I my try and work with it more in Lightroom or Photoshop - but nothing can get me down in the grass by using PS! I'll tell you what, if I have something special maybe you can give my your 2 cents worth; and likewise.
