One of the surprises of being a life-long teacher is the "snow day". Sometimes they are a welcomed relief and break from the normal routine. Other times they are a inconvenience when there is too much snow to move and severe conditions that disrupts household living.
However, this February 4th snow day was a manageable 4-5" snowstorm that provided beautiful scenery in our gorgeous part of Chester County. As an owner of a Subaru Outback and a photographer, it was also a fun day to "play".
Here are the results of the photos from that special day, February 4, 2009. The early snow was wet and clung to the trees, then the small accumulation came piling up a 4-5" blanket of white.
