The "shoulder season" down the shore is an important time for many of the businesses and to keep the spirit of fun down the shore going.
All the shore towns have events starting in May & June before schools are out and then again in September through Christmastime.
Many even have a winter plunge into the ocean. Sea Isle has their Polar Bear Plunge over Presidents Weekend in February.
The Fall Family Festival Weekend is this weekend, September 13-15, 2013, in Sea Isle City. Saturday featured lots of vendors on the Promenade,
a food court on JFK, live music and was very well attended due to the pleasantly sunny and cool weather.
The day was capped off by the final concert in Excursion Park at 8PM.
Sunday featured a car show on the Promenade.
