Traci is a Red Lored Amazon parrot which is native to Central America and Mexico. He is our last remaining pet bird of the 200+ birds that we housed and bred between 1989 and 2002. He is the remainder of over 7 or 8 pet birds we kept here in our home over the same time period while we were breeding pet birds. Traci used to share our company with a Scarlet Macaw named Phoenix, a Catalina Macaw named Sunny, a Mollucan Cockatoo named Georgia and numerous others over the years. Traci was born domestically here in South Carolina and not removed from the wild. He was hand fed and fledged in our kitchen and has been a part of our family ever since.
