Kodachrome Basin State Park

Kodachrome Basin is named for the film of the same name. In September, 1949, National Geographic published an article on the area featuring photos from the relatively new film. Though not even close to being their first color article, it is was one step along their path to being the first publication to print an all-color issue in February, 1962. This is the smallest of all my galleries, but I felt that the park deserved one of its own, no matter how small.
