I was looking back at Brant Rock, my special place as a child growing up. My grandparents owned a little cottage at the very end on cherry street, and growing up i have so many fond memories of brank rock. By looking at your photos even brought tears to my eyes as i really 'loved' that place. I spent many many summers there, and fond memories of fishing with my grandfather. I was there in the 50's and 60's, but after my grandparents died, a few years later unfortunately my parents sold the property. I have located cherry street on google earth, but a cottage is no longer there, just an empty spot. But many memories i still hear and see, playing in the stream next to the cottage, going clam digging, and that wonderful sea smell!! I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart how wonderful your pictures are, that bring back so many wonderful memories of brant rock as a child. I moved out to arizona in 1977, and have yet to return to brant rock, i would love to return someday and enjoy the wonderful beach and town in itself, but u have helped me get there just by your great photos. THANK U SO MUCH!!! Sincerely, Mary (mello) Stromberg, queen creek, arizona
