Statue of a Japanese war hero in the eighteenth century - Sendai.
Too many photos have been taken from the front, so I tried to move to the side a bit and framed the statue with some tree branches in nice shape.

I've been to Sendai for several times, this statue is the 16th century northern japan shogun "Date Masamune ¥ì¹F¬F©v", not 18th century war hero.

Nice picture, I think you should not have zoomed that close, a bit more on the shot would make it look better.
