My compliments on your galleries in general, but in particular, the one on Eastern Turkey. For myself, I have temporily given up on digital and have moved back to film and presently like to shoot with much of the same equipment that you used in Turkey. From the standpoint of total impact, the pictures from Turkey are stunning, and I believe that a part of that impact comes from your choice of film, and your lens selection. There is nothing in your choice of equipment or medium that distracts from the subject matter, as it should be. And your choice of the right lens in terms of perspective and framing was excellent. I was rivited to the photos through the entire gallery, and do not think you would have quite achieved the same effect, had you used a modern digital camera and lens set.

The most impressive gallery for me was Eastern Turkey. Subject choice and framing were excellent as most of the full frame pictures makes the viewer feel inside the picture. I felt the cold of the mountains, the solitude of the streets as well as the "warmth" in the copperware shops and everything was in the usual perspective accustomed by human eye. (This is also a characteristic of the 28mm f/2.0 Nikkor used, once the preferred 28mm for most NG photographers. I wish you use the same lens with a D3 in future.)
