On Saturday Feb 28th we had a very serious accident at our repair facility, an accidental fire broke out and my son suffered 3rd degree burns over 40% of his body. He will recover; in fact he came out of the ICU ward at Harborview Hospital the other day and is now in the regular burn ward and is doing rather well, however the projected recovery time is 1 to 1 ½ years. The shop also suffered major damage but is salvageable and with a lot of help from neighbors and friends we are working on the repairs despite the insurance company’s denial of my claim. Needless to say I will not be able to maintain this website for a while; I will keep it in its current form however in a dormant state. Please feel free to look around and you may still post comments and questions, I will try to check in from time to time. There is one more item I would like to say. A nearby fire extinguisher saved my sons life, all of the burns he suffered happened in less than 30 seconds. Please be sure you have an adequate number of fire extinguishers on hand that are easily visible and properly serviced.
