Braeside walker 2007- 2010

Braeside Park is a large, natural area in a suburban sandbelt. Nestled amongst golf courses, urban development and busy roads, it has the quality of an oasis. The park offers easy walking and cycling trails that meander through three very distinct environments - wetlands, heathland and red gum woodland. The 312 hectares offer a peaceful interlude with picturesque views.

I am so surprised with Braeside. I drove around the Industrial Estate and near Braeside Park, but not venturing in - as yet. After seeing your photographs, it will be the next walk I do. Thanks, Michael

Melbourne and its environment is the place to be! Plenty of space and so many wonders of nature, underlined with apt thoughts to ponder again and again.
Must have worn out a pair of shoes on those several walks though ...

Through these images I can sense your enjoyment of this place of refuge from city life. Enjoyment of simple things and small events is indeed worth cultivating.
