Terracotta Warriors -- In exhibition at Bowers Museum, Santa Ana, CA. Feb. 2012.

The Terracotta Warriors (discovered near Xi'an) represent only a small portion of the eight thousand strong underground army buried in front of the Emperor Quinshihuang's tomb (r. 221-207 BC) to defend him on the afterlife. One of China's most important rulers who unified China for first time (7 states into one).

Answer to Julie: Average height -- 5'4" to 5'6". Animals -- pretty much as we know them now.
