University High School 40th Reunion

These are pictures taken by Bob Berghell at the University High School Reunion (Class of 1965) at the Riviera Country Club on Saturday, October 22, 2005. A great time was had by all - special thanks to Judy Kleinberg, Miriam Lacey and Carol Helman for all the excellent arrangements. Thanks Bob for putting together this great website with great pictures from our Uni hi reunion.It was really fun to see lots of old friends from the past.How we have all grown up, in various ways and evolved into what each of us does is fascinating. I would like to just spend time knowing what each classmate is doing with their live now and how we could possibly connect again.Since I am a crusader for cancer prevention, I represent all of us in helping keep us all healthy, living long lives. Hey Bob, this is a really nice job of taking these pictures and sharing it with everyone. I especially like the group shots, as they made it even more special. Although I only attended Uni for one year, I knew many of you from Westwood School and Emerson Jr. Hi. It has been great emailing many of my old school friends. Sorry to have missed seeing everyone, looks like you all had a great time. While you were celebrating, Kathy and I were in New Mexico. Hopefully we'll make it to the next one. Bob you did a great job with the pictures, glad to see that all of you got older too! Hope to hear from some of you.

Everyone aged very nicely...especially Steve Becker and Barry Abell. I was especially glad to see that Gary Hoffman still has hair...'s funny but at first I thought that I was looking at a reunion of our teachers, then I remembered that we are now older than many of them when they were teaching us in 1965. I am sorry I couldn't make it...to all my classmates and friends I wish you all great health, prosperity, contentment and laughter. Bob, Thank you so much for putting this wonderful photo album together. What a treat to have these photos to look at after such a great night. Jac and I were happy to be part of the festivities. Hello Bob, Ed Claybin (Klabin back then)here. Thank you for the great photos taken at the reunion. I was unable to attend the reunion due to a choice between two weeks in Puerto Vallarta, and being there with my Classmates. I'll do my best to make the next one. Judy Kleinberg lives just a few hours north of me in Bellingham,WA. (I'm in Vancouver USA) I also enjoyed all of your photos on the Web Site. I lived in Hawaii at one time and would often spend the day watching the Outrigger races. In reviewing the photos of the reunion, I spotted some people from our collective past that I would like to get in touch with. Does a email list exist of our classmates?
