I also went to see star wars here. I must have been 8 years old. I remember that the line went all the way round the back of the cinema. We didn't get into the first screening but a photographer from the evening mail took a panoramic photo of the queue and I was pleased to see my self in the paper. I would love to see that picture again.

Like Steve, my first ever date was here to see Star Wars also in 77. It was jam packed and we had to sit 3 rows apart. This bloke saw that my girl was not with me so he gave up his seat so we could sit together. I will always remember that. Sadly, I learned that she passed away last week :(
I remember going with my Mother to see the Sound Of Music, on what was one of Europe's Largest Screens, once she had seen it for the first time we went back another five times.
