Brookvale Park Baths

Thanks to Keith Jenney we now have a newspaper photo showing how the
baths looked in their heyday, the first time I have seen this view.

l live in brookvale park, in the house park road end, we are holding our centenary of the park on july 19th 2009, if anyone has photo of the park from the early days friends of brookvale park would love a copy for our display on the day.

Great picture of Brookvale Park. Don't remember the baths but remember a fenced off area.
We used to bunk of Sunday School and spend the hour in the Park instead, until I fell in the lake. My brother received a good hiding and said "if that's what you get for saving him I'll let him drown next time". Born in Pype Hayes 1936, Slade road School 1940 to 47 then we lived in Hunton Road.
