Enjoying the passion of photography has also heightened an awareness that were there not beautiful or interesting things to "capture," life would be painfully dull. Thank God for sharing with us the mystery and miracle of light, shadow, color, reflection, shape and surprise. I might be the one who presses the shutter, but I can certainly not be credited for what appears in the frame. It exists independent of me and I'm simply the lucky one who happens to freeze it in the one moment I have to see what's before me.
