I have great fondness for this area of Montana just north of Helena. My former father-in-law, Jim McLucas, was instrumental in wildlife restoration for several decades in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s for Montana, and had assisted the successful return of mountain goats, big horn sheep, antelope, elk, deer, and other big game into many of the wild areas of the Big Sky State, including the Gates of the Mountains. The Gates of the Mountains area has a great boat tour that allows visitors a fantastic opportunity to get to know the history of this stretch of the Missouri River that much more. http://www.gatesofthemountains.com
So very happy you found the gallery! I was hoping you would. Please feel free to share with Tim, too, and if there's anything the tours can use to help promote the conservation of this gem, just let me know and I'll send you the full-size versions. I also have many photos that I haven't posted, due to repetition, but will keep screening to see if there's anything I think I should add. Thanks for a GREAT day on the water!
Peace,
Nancy

Nancy- As the captain of the boat I often see passengers taking pictures however I seldom get to see the results. Your work certainly does justice to this beautiful area.
