Well, I am wondering if you are the "Belen" that Bill talked about so much at UNB in the late '50's...!! I refer to Guillermo Hedderich Vegas, who was in the civil engineering program there when I was in electrical engineering....I left UNB to finish at McGill and lost track of him....it would be nice to catch up and say hello...do you have an email address for him, if I've got the right "Belen"???
sincerely, Bob Bridge in St. Peter's Nova Scotia...
Here's another interesting photocentric philosoph for you: Her name's Tanya Angelet - from my stepson Jon's Paternal side of his family. She's in facebook, but I've only corresponed with her briefly, after one of her relatives, Rich Angelet, visited here recently to see Jon and his family...
Re digital cameras - I'm told that the best are only as good as their lenses. True?
Dani & her husband have put up their $6 Million house for sale - don't know where they're planning to move. And I don't know if they just don't need all the bling-bling - or if they got burned by the economy's nose-dive.
How's the economic situation in VZ? I've lost track of my Icelandic friends, Sigrun Appleby (nee Gudbrandsdottir) and her Son, Aegir Morgan (Not the Danish Aegir Morgan on facebook.)
This is our cold time of the year - we had ice on our mini-pond this morning... It must be beautiful in VZ...
I'm going back to your galleries and see what you've been up to. Say Hi to your Dad!
Mucho Gusto & All the best!

I had the same problem with the 5D mirror detaching and the body was sent to LA for repair. Last night during a job it detached again. I am furious! Canon said this is a common problem that happens only in Hawaii. They said there is no repair directive or recall to fix the problem. I have made a very substantial investment in Canon equipment and have been a very supportive customer but this problem and their attitude has me extremely upset. The serial # of my camera is 1410901257 Perhaps we got lemons? Stan

Let me know if you get this....
My stepdaughter Michelle's photographer friend, Daniell "Dani" Brubaker, has her own website - it's "www.danibrubaker.com". "Brubaker" is her ex-husband's surname, but Dani is a Choctaw; but I don't know her maiden name. Dani specializes in portraits; but recently, she has been working with department store chains for their clothing ads, and has been featuring Michelle's two daughters, Kayley and Stephanie.
Dani's website is: www.danibrubaker.com... I have not yet checked it out, but will do just that as soon as I send this to you.
