The Ramp

Just the sight of it, made me wonder and question my sanity several times. But well I was already at the base and it was no time to quit. Besides, I already knew I had a lot of craziness in me at the time ;).

We started the walk at 9 am.

On this I got no words to thank Alexis, our guide, who kept by my side and encouraging me the whole climb. WOW this guy is a teacher of patience in any place, for sure I tryed his! LOL. Can you even imagine? Leonel, my porter was behind taking bets on me and wondering when I was going to give up and return down? Hahah le lost! (should have took one bet myself).

It's funny, at some places in the trip, my partners left messages on the rocks or dirt encouraging me :).

What should have taken 4 hours, it took me 6 and half hours, but then again I was not in a challenge or any competition right? and....

Finally! on top!!!

I can not describe the feeling of being finally on top of Roraima... magic is not even a word that can come near it. I was welcomed by all of them applauding me :), I guess they also wanted Leonel to loose the bets LOL. It was amazing... Maybe my pictures can tell the story for myself...
