Here is my past year - one photo at a time - one per week. Some of the events and images may be a part of your past year as well. It is an attempt to pick one pic per week which usually involved ample culling. A variety of situations, requires one to wear an equal variety of hats. In the days of film, one could plan on shooting 10 to 30 rolls of film per week in small newspaper work. Now I maintain a great affinity for film, but digital has the advantage of time saved.
In this gallery of the multiple assignments and other images I shoot during the course of a week I am sharing the one that left an impession on the photographer. While many are a part of assignments, the images here may be different from the images that were published. It also leaves out a variety of photos that could easily have been included, but the excercise remains an attempt to pick one per week. (Note there are about five weeks missing for lack of an update mid-year. During that time, an external computer hard drive containing about three years of newspaper images and others, failed. A disheartening loss that left the debate on digital vs. film a little less than balanced if one considers that I have negatives that are well over 40 years old, and readily available...) Unless otherwise noted, all images are copyright 2004 by Lloyd Schultz.
