Paged after midnight after a resident at 325 Swap St called when smoke was noticed in the hallway. Upon arrival firefighters found a basement room engulfed in flames and knocked it down in short order as residents were being evacuated. Crews stayed to clean up and investigate clearing the scene around 5 a.m.
