A house on Mallard Court in Sullivan caught fire, originating in a child's room. The child had been taken to school and the child's mother had returned home when she noticed the fire in the child's bedroom. Smoke detectors alerted the woman to investigate and exit the dwelling. Sullivan fire requested several departments to provide mutual aid including one pumper and one tender from JCFE. Local fire personnel had the blaze under control upon the arrival of mutual aide. JCFE personnel had cleared the scene prior to these photos.
