Holla Bend National Widlife Refuge - November 2014
These last few weeks I have been traveling from various National Refuges to others and doing an informal survey of wildlife, refuge visitors, and the facilities. Some sites visited were Reelfoot NWR, Bald Knob NWR, Lower Hatchie NWR, and Holla Bend NWR (sometimes referred to as Hollow Bend NWR). From all these fine guardians and protectors of wildlife, Holla impressed me the more in terms of setup, security of access, and the manner in which agri work is conducted. The exception being they do not use a no-till method with their feed crops.
