Susan Constant was the flagship and largest of the ships that brought the first permanent English settlers to
American in 1607. It carried 54 passengers and 17 crew. The original ship probably was built in 1605 on the River Thames.

After dropping off her passengers she returned to England to continue her ordinary life of trading.

This is the second replica built and is now moored on the James River at the Jamestown Settlement.
