Pima County Courthouse

downtown Tucson

Built in the late 1920s by architect Roy Place, it's been called one of the "first really grandiose buildings of Tucson". Its architecture is a combination of Spanish and Colonial revival styles.

A crooked tile line runs across the brick walkway in the patio and this line represents the east wall of the old Tucson Presidio, the walled encampment that was built in the 1770s.

To moi, this is one of most beautiful bldgs. in downtown Tucson, if not the most beautiful tiled tower/roof in green and other variables of green/blue, just gorgeous!
and offset by beautiful pink-hued exterior walls.
