Some were taken in 1990-91 while I was living there as a missionary, others were taken in 1997-98 while I was doing research for a PhD in anthropology. While I was there I met and married my beautiful wife in Cajamarca. These mountains and people will always hold a special place in my heart. These are all scans of b/w prints that I made from 35mm film. Most of the 1997-98 images were taken with a little Yashica point and shoot. My SLR was stolen soon after I arrived in Cajamarca and I was not able to replace it at the time. I also have a ton of color transparencies that I hope to eventually scan and upload.
