I am a Swiss-Australian and have been living in Switzerland for a number of years. My interest in photography was recently rekindled and I traded my old film camera on a new Nikon D80. It is a bonus that my old lenses are still compatible (although I have acquired some newer ones as well) and I have really been enjoying taking pictures again. Still a long way to go on the learning curve and I appreciate advice from anyone who would care to offer it.
EDIT: After several years of taking photos with the D80 (learning a little and having a lot of fun too) I have just added a D700 :-) This will change things somewhat and I'm really looking forward to trying this new camera out and comparing the output from the 2 very different Nikons.
EDIT: The D80 is gone and was replaced by an F5. I am really enjoying shooting film again. So much so, in fact, that I have ordered a Hasselblad which should be here shortly.
EDIT: The Hasselblad has become a much-loved family member and we are really enjoying taking photos together.
EDIT: I have also added an almost mint F3 which is compatible with all of my Nikon lenses and is a compact and sturdy film camera to carry about.
