Today we are using the "fancy" dishes but we almost always eat dinner in the dining room.
We do not have an eat-in kitchen nor do we have a breakfast nook or kitchen area with bar
stools. Once every few months we may eat in front of the television (that's located in
our family room and is the only one that we have in the house other than one that's in the
basement and used only when we exercise). We believe that the dinner hour is a time to
reconnect with each other and that it is to be done without outside distractions (tv or
cell phones or other distractions) other than some soft music playing in the background.
Yesterday we celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. Could this be our secret?
