Mori Building Pudong Shanghai China

I have been fascinated with the construction of the Mori building in Lujiazui Pudong Shanghai China. This is adjacent to the Jin Mal Tower and will shadow it in 2008, also across the street from the Shanghai Stock exchange. I have lived in its shadow for many years and will attempt to share the phases of development and the final building upon completion. It has been said that they complete one floor per day, and by the progress I believe it.
The Japanese builders of a Shanghai skyscraper that is to be one of the world's tallest have scrapped plans for a round hole through its upper floors after Chinese complaints that it looked like Japan's "rising sun" flag.

The newest design for the 101-story, 1,614-foot-tall Shanghai World Financial Center developed by, the Mori Building Co. of Tokyo, will have four holes for wind relief which was made for technical reasons.

I ventured deep inside this monster yesterday and some of the resulting pictures are here.
