My mechanic.This year, as he often does, Danny, and wife Susan, threw a Christmas party for his customers. In his shop's garage. He and his guys clean the shop, shrink-wrap most of it so no one gets grease or oil on them. They set up tables and chairs and smoke turkeys, pork loins, and hams, and do several flavors of deep-fried turkey (this year honey mustard and creole). There are sides and desserts and beverages of all kinds. He often says he won't do another one because they are so much work (especially the shop's deep cleaning!), but they keep on coming. He's a "give-back" guy. It's always a good time; you see folks you haven't seen in a while, and see just about everyone out of the normal daily context - work, school, etc.
