A spring like ascent of the West Lion

With the unbelievable May like weather we were having at the end of February, I had to get out again to enjoy it while it lasted.

Due to its close proximity to Vancouver and the fact that the scramble to the summit appeared to be snow free I thought I'd go up the West Lion. As luck would have it, I fell in with a bunch of fellow ACCers (mixed with some BCMCers and a few North Shore Hikers) and had a fun, social time of it; a stark contrast to the solitude I had on Tricouni the previous weekend. Good fun!

I made them all green with envy by being able to ride my mountain bike back down the long approach road instead of having to do the unending slog (been there, done that!).
